Join us at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center to participate in this community science project! Please select the date and time that you would like to count feeder birds at Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Each slot is for one hour of counting time at our south feeder. Participation is totally free; you simply need to reserve a ticket to claim the timeslot. SIGN UP HERE.
EARTH DAY EVENTS

Seeds of Caring’s Kids as Planet Protectors: An Earth Day Celebration will take place at Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Families and groups are invited to participate in multiple projects inside and outside to help kids ages 2-12 take action in protecting our environment and investing in our planet’s future. Community partners will be on site to educate kids on environmental stewardship actions. Join us for a day of fun, education, live music and art. Also, check out our Earth Day painting fundraiser and take home a painting of nature's wildlife, landscapes, flowers and more!

Green Columbus presents a family event out in the Scioto Audubon Metro Park featuring music, fin, activities, food, drinks and community vendors! Grange Insurance Audubon staff will be leading bird and native tree walks.
BIRDS, BREWS & BURGERS

Join us for a COSI Science Festival event hosted by the Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Take a bird walk throughout the Scioto Audubon Metro Park with our educators and learn how to use the Merlin Bird ID app to explore the world of birding! After the bird hike, participate in a beer tasting experience sampling 5 Nocterra Brewing Company beers and hard ciders while enjoying sliders (vegan sliders too) and Bird trivia. NEW THIS YEAR: The first forty people to register will also receive a Bird Bingo card for a chance to win even more prizes!

WORLD MIGRATORY BIRD DAY EVENTS

Sign up for Midwest Photo's Basic Bird Photography Spring Migration Photo Walk (10a-12p)
It’s Spring migration time and the Warblers are back! Join us for a photo walk at the Grange Audubon with Kathy Cubert. She will guide the class through the property and help you put into practice your birding photography skills! If you joined us for the Spring Migration Preparation class, this is your chance to finally capture some amazing bird images you’ve been practicing for. Register HERE
Visit our "Shared Spaces" stations throughout the Center to learn how you can become Bird Friendly. Then play the Migration Game outside, show a photo of you playing the game near one of the game signs and receive a FREE Migratory Bird Day poster and sticker while supplies last.
"OBSERVER" DOCUMENTARY FILM SCREENING EVENT

Participate in this 2-part experiment that seeks to explore and celebrate the power of observation. This free film screening event includes an outdoor session after the film where the first 50 participants to sign up and attend the event will receive on Observation Kit.
